Valencia CF, alongside the Fundació VCF and VCF Academy, has been recognized for its social values initiative, 'VCF World - Zero Discrimination', receiving an award from Love Rights Global Organization at the Diversity Sports Summit 2025. The honor was given on February 19, marking the International Day Against LGTBIphobia in Sports.
The award acknowledges the club’s strong commitment to inclusion and equality in sports and its fight against discrimination—whether in the form of racism, bullying, or homophobia—through its 'VCF World - Zero Discrimination' project.
Since September 2023, this initiative has led to the creation of a ten-point manifesto promoting diversity and anti-discrimination values. These principles are not only applied inside Mestalla Stadium but also integrated into the daily life of Valencia CF, its Foundation, Academy (Sentiment, Valentia i Germanor), and in its relationships with fans, external audiences, and various organizations.
The manifesto has inspired real actions, such as:
- Anti-racism workshops, with the participation of Mouctar Diakhaby.
- Campaigns against bullying and support for social causes.
- Partnerships with organizations working for equality and inclusion.
- Aid for those affected by the DANA storms, focusing on emotional and material recovery, especially for children and teenagers.
Love Rights is an organization dedicated to promoting diversity, equality, and LGTBI rights across sports, culture, and business. Through initiatives like the Diversity Sports Summit, it fosters inclusion and respect at all levels of society.
